Bridging US and EMEA markets in IoT, AIoT, and RTLS for the industries that can’t afford to get it wrong.

If you're an SME or startup looking to expand across the Atlantic — into EMEA or into the US — you already know that great technology alone doesn't open doors. You need someone who understands the buyers, the channel, the culture, and the competitive landscape on both sides. That's what CommNet does.

─ WHO WE HELP

Built for companies moving across borders with disruptive technology

CommNet works with SMEs and startups in industries where connected technology — IoT, AIoT, RTLS — is reshaping operations. If your buyers are in any of these sectors, you’re in the right place:

Aviation & airports

Aerospace & defense

Automotive & heavy manufacturing (steel, foundries)

Mining & tunneling

Healthcare

Logistics & supply chain

Semiconductors & electronics

Whether you’re headquartered in Texas and want to crack Germany, Austria, or the Nordics — or you’re based in Europe and need a real foothold in the US market — CommNet gives you the knowledge, the relationships, and the execution to get there.

─ CREDIBILITY

Not a consultant who reads about technology. One who’s sold it.

CommNet was founded by someone who started his career at Hewlett-Packard in 1976 and has spent five decades in technology sales, sales management and market development across Europe and the US.

At Avant! Corporation — a publicly traded semiconductor software company — I ran European operations with a team of 125 people and $85 million in annual revenue. When Synopsys acquired Avant! in 2002, I stayed on to manage global integration.

Since founding CommNet (originally in the UK in 2004, re-registered as CommNet LLC in Frisco, TX in 2018), I’ve worked as a consultant and embedded business developer for clients including:

A group of engineers working in a high-tech industrial or research facility with computer screens and advanced machinery, one wearing a yellow safety helmet.
Person in business attire using a tablet computer with graphs and charts displayed, in a data center or server room with metal shelves and servers.
